Demonstration on First Anniversary of Invasion

Yes, it's already been a year: three hundred and sixty five days since we invaded Iraq. Four hundred of our own men and women have died, with thousands more wounded, many forever changed. Thousands of Iraqis have been killed, and the country is no closer to democracy than it was under Saddam.

If you disagree with this carnage and feel compelled to speak out, you will get your chance this Saturday. On March 20th, demonstrators in New York, L.A., San Francisco, Chicago and other cities across the U.S. will join with Iraqis and Palestinians, as well as other peace activists around the world, in a Global Day of Action to challenge the Bush administration's imperial quest.

The San Francisco event begins at 11 a.m. in Dolores Park. After assembling, the crowd will march to the Civic Center. Here is a direct link to the San Francisco flyer (in PDF):
