How often do you get to participate in democracy and lift some pints? Not often enough, I say. That's why I'm extending this short-notice invite:
As a fan and supporter of Matt Gonzalez, the highest ranking Green Party elected official in the country, I'm going to be spreading the word about him and his run for the office of mayor in the Castro district of San Francisco this Thursday night. Like I said, short notice. If you can make it, email me immediately with the subject "Pub Crawl" to set up a meeting spot.
The group is supposed to leave the Gonzalez campaign headquarters at 568 Haight Street (the Horseshoe Cafe) around 9 p.m. You can even show up then and there. If you can't make this one, others are planned in different neighborhoods every Thursday night until the Nov. 4 election.
